The Anti-Corruption Commission Director General Mr. Gilbert Phiri has urged school pupils at Lusaka International Community School to uphold values of hard work, integrity and unity in their life.

He said stealing is a criminal offence and pupils and their parents should desist from engaging in this vice.
“Stealing is criminal. So thou shall not steal. As a pupil, don’t get what doesn’t belong to you. As for you parents present here, don’t steal resources under your charge either at your work place or here at school. You need to have integrity. Because failure to do so will land you in serious problems,” he said.
He noted that unity is an essential social spectrum and is fundamental to the development of any country.
And LICS Board Chairperson Mr. Aakash Gumber thanked the school management for organizing the event that showcased their talents.
The Cultural Week was celebrated with various performances such as poems, and songs by the school pupils.
